You wake up, had a coffee, Lydia has arrived to pick you up, we talk through the day — maybe the itinerary shifts because the light on Lake Wakatipu is too good to rush past.
We stop when something catches your eye, linger over lunch at a vineyard most visitors never find, and arrive to your accommodation unhurried, already talking about tomorrow.

Tell us a little about yourselves — your travel dates, how many days you have, and what New Zealand means to you. Lydia will personally design your itinerary and reach out within 24 hours to talk it through.
Journeys start from $900 per day (private vehicle, up to 6 guests — the rate never changes whether it's just the two of you or the full group). Most people spend 5–10 days exploring the South Island's highlights at a relaxed pace.
We take on a limited number of private journeys each season to ensure every guest gets Lydia's full attention — early enquiries get first choice of dates.
